The PRESERVE consortium, in collaboration with IRIS, is organizing a workshop on the Decision Support System, a tool that will be developed within the project to support the different users identify the best upcycling route or approach for the PRESERVE bio-based packaging solutions based on a case-by-case multiparametric optimisation.
The workshop "Designing a Decision Support System (DSS): Identifying the best routes for upcycling new bio-based packaging materials" will be held online on 19 October 2023 from 10 to 11.30 CET.
The workshop will apply Agile methodology to design and identify requirements of the DSS:
- Identify who will be the end users of the DSS
- For each end user, write a set of key examples of what they would expect to do with the DSS (query and results)
- Identify what information we need to satisfy each user/example of point (ii).
In the workshop, we will first show some toy examples of applying the methodology. Next, the participants will apply the methodology to the real PRESERVE use cases. Finally, participants will cross-check each other’s results for each use case.
