PRESERVE consortium meets for the periodical meeting
On 14 and 15 of February 2023, PRESERVE partners met for their periodical meeting in Paterna, Valencia, Spain.
The host of this meeting was AIMPLAS, leading the tasks on the development of bio-based coatings and adhesives for tailoring packaging properties of the PRESERVE final prototypes. The Technological Institute of Plastics (AIMPLAS) is a private, non-profit organization involved in the technological research and development of thermoplastic and thermosetting plastic materials & products, their transformation processes and their recyclability and sustainability.
The first day was dedicated to the technical workpackages, in which the advances and challenges that the consortium is going to face in the coming months have been presented.
During the second day of the meeting, the PRESERVE advisory board was invited to an online round table with the PRESERVE consortium. Advances and future challenges were discussed with the external experts.
Then, the partners divided into different working groups for an open session of discussion. Primary and secondary demonstrators, as well as society and policy tasks, were discussed in order to focus more the activities for the next 6 months.
The next general meeting is scheduled for July 2023 in Florence, Italy, hosted by Next Technology Tecnotessile, leading tasks on safety, environmental and economic sustainability assessments.
